sunlore

A collection of melodic rhythms and pulses gesturing toward the phantasmagorical. These recordings were made over a period of time at our former studio in New Hope, PA. Culled from hours of improvisations, these 19 tracks have participation by some or all members of Sunlore: Bill Errig, Ron Lent, David Marino, and Ahmed Salvador (with Andrew Benkert playing keyboards on the first track sampled, 'Electromagnetic on yellow'). Each front album cover is hand made in an edition of approximately 200 by Ahmed Salvador, with a technique involving fire and spray paint.

Bronwynne Brent

bronwynne is an old, very dear, friend of ours. it's hard for me to find the right words to say about this girl, because she's haunted my thoughts for almost two decades...(in a good way). she is an incredible singer/songwriter, and her record, "deep black water" comes out today. it was recorded in austin tx and produced by mike mcarthy (who also produced spoon!). do yourself a favor and check her music out....and if its not your cup of tea, share it with someone you know that might like it....they'll love it. in my mind she's been famous for years.

the grand dragon donated some trannies/materials to a certain d.i.y spot/crew in the name of bloodmobile....very honorable indeed. (and yeah he'll be over there w/trowle in hand seeing it thru...) which in turn, will get certain cult figures a guilt free green light to shed. respect is due.
