pt 2: it hadn't been empty in 4 years....

ya neva know whats hiding beneath that dark water. the surface was a pebbled finish (see the old post "pebble beach" for an example). james informed me it was an aqua tech pool, popular in the 80's. a skateable finish but you don't wanna go down....
it's like a flesh removal system. "strike one" he joked.



the shape looked sick, corners, hips,...the extension!....and as the water went, up came the shallow end stairs each one wider than the last, eclipsing a good portion of the invisible lines we were seeing. "strike two" he joked.....

fat joe's: full disclosure -pt 1

so...jay mun (at his 30th birthday party) introduced me to a friend of his that had a pool in his back yard. it was a rented house with an inground. they wanted to empty it so they could, eventually, fill it again to swim in. the dude had never met me before and this was our first introduction so it was just like "alright cool, we'll talk about it". which meant i got the street name (from someone else) and crept around the neighborhood until i found it and took this night shot. this was the first week in may....things were lookin good


after texting this dude for like a week we had the tumbs up, we were in.







its times like these the secret weapon is the best guy to have in your corner. he's got the expertise....and the best pump.
